PVC has proven over many years to be a highly suitable material in the manufacture of retractable cords based on its durability and its ability to offer good performance at reasonable cost where power requirements are low to moderate. Its glossy finish is suitable in many applications and if required it can be made in many colors other than black. Included in this group, to name just a few, are cords suited for use in test instruments, medical equipment, barcode readers, hand-held controllers and photographic equipment. PVC cords can be made to UL AWM style 2464 rated at 80 deg 300volts. Please call when there is a requirement for conductor counts other than those shown here.
